I make FF Skins.

GeoKill told me that someone submitted a link of my Tranquilizer skin here, so i will let you know that i plan on being an active skinner and texture artist for this game.

I would love to do that, but the arm model uses a shared file. This means that I dont have control of a team sensitive arm, they are both the same file. Sorry man, i wish i could help you there, but that is pretty much up to the people who compile the arms and such for the mod.

hry up and make new character skins for all the classes before 2.1! The current ones are dull and they don't stand out like they do in TFC|TF2

of course this is unrealistic and is probably gonna happen in a later release

You should get with me then. If we're both 'texture artists' then we need a unified idea of looks!


As far as the whole team colored arms go, we looked into it awhile back.. its pretty complicated.

Basically, every weapon w/ arms showing has to be recompiled w/ the 4 different skins, then the appropiate code changes need to take place to determine which skin is used etc. Basically, the hard part is the compile... thats not fun at all.

thats for a future patch then, its doable, will just take some time to implement like anything good.

Well, if somebody in the community with model compiling/decompiling experience wants to step up to the plate, I'd be happy to make the 4 team colored skins, just need somebody to recompile the bitch. Then I could probably get Jiggles or somebody to make the appropriate code changes to make it all work, or some such what have you. I just suck at compiling. Took me nearly 3 hours to figure out how to compile the mancannon and apply the texture to it. Not what I call fun.
