you have a leak, also you can go to coordinates and brush numbers, look in the "map"(i think) drop down..

the thing is that it says brush number 110861 and i just have like 1400. And in the map thing on hammer u have to select a brush and he tells u the number, but dunno how to search for a number and show the brush :\

If you mean in-game, it's because you're using model textures on a brush

not really its the cliff texture from rock 2, it shows in 95% of the mountain but have 2 places where is shows in black lolz.
Other problem that i have wih this and other maps is that it seems to have a leek ingame but its perfectly right on hammer lol. |

there is a way of searching for brush numbers too. It'll take you to the brush. Its there in one of the menu options "view" maybe, obviously I cant show you now!
I thought u knew about leaks by now zE! have you used "load pointfile" in one of the menus that point to the leak with a red line? |

the leaks are fixed, but not via loadpoint.
Sh4x it seems to have a leak in game cuse playing u see some lines on the floor between block junctions where u see the sky lol. and now the black stuff Last edited by zE; 08-06-2008 at 04:56 PM. |

From your screenshot, it doesn't look like you need a sky behind that wall, so why is the sky there in the first place?
And about the black texture, like I said, delete the brush completely and remake it. |

i dont have a sky behind the wall, its the skybox that shows.. trought that leek, the funny thing is that in hammer is complety sealed.. |

Hrm.. when I said sky I meant skybox... sky, skybox, same thing.
I don't think you understand how to use the skybox properly... and what you see is not a leak. You shouldn't have a skybox placed behind a wall and it's the only thing that causes this blue line between the brushes. I suggest you take a look at some well made maps with skyboxes to see how they're supposed to be used. |

dont take the name of skybox literally. use it more of a roof than a box.

Sometimes if you have nodraw showing it shows up as sky.
Go make sure those edges are lined up perfectly. Sometimes brushes get bumped out of alignment. |

ye i know that nodraw does that, in that 2 chunks i aplyed textures on all faces to see if it corrects it, but same problem.
And tbh u can use the skybox as a box around the map or just as a roof in open areas. I choose to aply all over the map cuse when u are in spec mode it seems that the map is floating in the air. |
