New questions though:
AvD dustbowl style maps will get a fixed time limit, like 22/23 minutes just like in TFC to avoid 60 minute long rounds on some servers or shorter rounds than usual? Also, are there any plans on increasing the last CP point value to 50 to match TFC's?

Reasoning behind that: 5 points to Defense per minute = 110/115 points for a complete hold in 23 minutes rounds, but Offense only gets 30*3 = 90 points total for all three CPs. If the last CP is worth 50, a last second capture ends in a tie, since Defense did resist the whole timer but Offense captured just in time. (Also, I think this is more fair that Offense winning, Defense is harder and they held the HQ...)

Fun fact: I wanted to post those earlier but forgot them, then I saw this thread and remember'd that I did want to ask a question, but didn't recall which was. So I'm asking before I forget again!

I'm kind of against this idea, I like the longer 30+ minute rounds of dustbowl, rare as they are.

30+ minute rounds of dustbowl are fine IF the scoring reflects it. But right now it doesn't.

Red get's what? Like 5 points a minute, and blue gets 30 points a cap. Something like that. But after 25 minutes Red has like 100 points. The most points blue can get are 90.

So say red defends their base for 59 minutes they have like 295 points, and blue caps in the final minute, they have a grand total of 90 points. So who won?

I said 23 minutes because this was the standard timer in TFC. As Hammock said, the problem is that the score doesn't reflect the round time difference. I remember playing a round of Dustbowl which was 60 minutes long; as you may understand it's a pain for the Defense to hold the enemy all that time, and we ended up beaten. However, the score was 90 - 135, so Defense said they won because of points, but Offense claimed that they had won, since they accomplished the objective.

I guess this is up to devs, to decide the normal timer and tweak the base_ad.lua file for the points?

IMO, longer rounds won't work that well, since in TFC sometimes is very hard to defend Dusty. If you make longer rounds while knowing that Offense has a great advantage in the current FF state (2.0), it's a bit of conterproductive.

I honestly don't care what about the score when playing, so any decision along those lines is fine. To me it's more an issue of whether O caps or not.

Normally I'd agree for AvD, though in dustbowl I find once you get more players offense seems to have less of an edge. So if you have a nice large 20 man game of dustbowl it can make for great action for a longer period of time. I'm not against the standard 23 minute round, just it would be nice if it's not a problem to switch it over to a longer duration if that's what the server prefers. Downloading a custom LUA doesn't sound like the most practical option there.

Will spawns on aardvark and shutdown2 (possibly more maps) have nobuilds in them to stop all the griefers?

noannoyances have been added to almost every map at this point. That said, there are some maps (2morforever as an example), which i'm not even sure if the vmf is readily available for one reason or another at the moment. People need to be annoyed to get that fixed.
