HDR in FF?

Hey, sorry if this has been posted before, but I was wondering if FF is gonna support HDR?
If you haven't seen it, take a look at the Far Cry 1.3 Patch which adds it. IMO it really adds something to the game. Obviously it would need to be optional, as its apparently hard on your gpu.

you can see some sort of demonstration here:

ps. also from what i've seen, maps and models have to be made with HDR in mind.. if this is true then it would be easier to do this sooner rather than later :>

No idea; I can't say it's high on the priority list considering true(ish) HDR typically halves your framerate (see Farcry).

Wouldn't be worth the trouble, as you need the FP framebuffer to properly do HDR... which'll end up limiting you to Gef6 and I guess ATI r520 users only.

If eyecandy goodies are gonna be used, one should stick to sm1.1 and sm2.0 related effects.
