Would be willing to help with modelling/mapping possibly. I'm assuming either engine would convert .STEP files, yea? Also for what it's worth, let's move to U4E. I mean really, has Valve not fucked us enough already?

If people are serious about applying to do voice work then i would suggest on starting to make some demo recordings for the teams consideration.

Bear in mind though that any submissions that might be considered, will have to be of a high standard of both performance and quality of recording.

Mp3's are fine for a demo, but wav's are needed for the game.
I would say use your imagination, pick a class and have fun with what you think they might say ?

Untill further progress and development gets underway then i can't speak for what the team would be looking for.

I started on the silhouettes. It's just the first step of the concept process. They'll all change and become more defined as I do more research on each class, but it's at least a start.

Feedback-
* Spy looks like he's wearing shorts, no shoes which I actually like though maybe its not intended.
* Medic and Demo have similar profiles which might blend, although medic should stick out.
* Pyro's visor is BOSS.

Cool stuff. Took me a while to figure out which class the soldier was supposed to be. The rocket sticking out like that looks really weird in silhouette (or just the fact that the RPG is not on his shoulder).

Looks like a decent start. I wasn't sure about the demo, only after deduction I was able to recognize it was the demo. I think the pyro and hw look a lot alike. I'm not sure how much uniqueness you're looking to get in each character. For a newer player they might seem more alike than a veteran player. Also I don't think this style of rocket launcher on the soldier is compatible with a 4 load rocket launcher we currently have.

To be honest, I would welcome a complete revamp of the HW aesthetic. It's the weakest FF model by far and I don't particularly like either of the TFC models. In fact, the HW has looked pretty bad in almost all fortress games.

It might be good to embrace the heavy weapons aspect and make him huge and covered in ammo or something (but I guess that's pretty much what TF2 did?). That visor thing and the weirdo dome helmet should probably go, though.

I like pyro's visor distinguishing him from the hw.

I would like to try some "gas mask" effects and work on pyro and medic vox.

Thanks to rookies speculation I've come to realize it's not a giant anal drill, rather it's a tfc style rpg, with the rocket loaded in the front. I always thought that was a really cool aesthetic from tfc even though it doesn't quite make sense with a 4 rocket clip.

Also even though you don't run into it much in FF there are some good advantages with the offset position of projectiles when it comes to cornering and some other situations. But I think mostly it just looks better with the view model animation.

Also @squeek, that is one heavy ass looking heavy.
