TFC - Are you still playing it?

Who here still plays TFC? I like the jolt hunted server but its always full of bots

If anyone had any sense they would be creating TFC clans and working on tactics on the current maps to prepare themselves for FF

i'm not a huge gamer anymore, again due to time and stuff, but i'm still one at heart, and i get a good lan session of TFC or whatever else going

tfc is that old girlfriend that is always in the background. no matter how many other games i play, for whatever length of time, i eventually get bored with them and go back to tfc. same applies for girls. (though i generally go back to my ex girlfriend, liz, not tfc.)

i just got way back into it after a few years. i got it free with HL2 and ironically have played it waaaay more than hl2. you just can't beat the classics.

i usually wander between the all 2fort servers.

I got back into it for $9.95 when I just today purchased it from Steam.

Say, are there any TFC communities/forums out there? I'm trying to install foxbot and host a server to practice on, but Steam is making this a real bitch. It seems the only kind of server I can create is a dedicated server, and whenever I do that, I can't find my own server no matter what; even if it's only a LAN game!! Can anyone help me, please? I need to practice my conc jumping.

Should be able to hit "New Game" or "Start Game," I forget which, and make a listen server.

The 'Create Server' option doesn't work. First of all, it doesn't allow me to select any map, but I am stuck with 'Random Map'. Second of all, once I start the server, TFC just exits to the desktop. I am pretty sure the Steam downloadable version of TFC doesn't allow listen servers.

One game doesn't let you make a listen server, out of all they've offered, which should work fine.

Try restarting Steam, see if it works after that.
