Active european TFC leagues?

Hi everyone,
I've been a member of this forum for almost a year now. I gave up TFC 2 years ago and am now waiting for FF. But last week I decided to install TFC and to try playing the game I once was so addicted to again. I really enjoyed some public games last week, but I now want to try clanning again...only to find all the clans and leagues I used to play dead or inactive

Are there any european TFC leagues still active? And what would be the best place for me to find a decent clan? Even though I'm rusty, im still a very experienced TFC player that might be a good help for a clan.

why would the devs run a league

While many of us have been (and still are, in some cases) involved in league administration, I don't see any reason to officially usurp this responsibility.

Why don't we just see how popular the game becomes before making leagues etc?

I'm pretty sure that wireplay are currently preparing there site to be able to handle a FF league. Sure I read it in one of there news items. :s
