no, but in fortress games because of the great difference between weapons and the speed with wich you switch eg rocket launcher shot - instant shotgun shot after, you have to have complete and instant control over it. using the mousewheel takes your finger off the shoot button.

So... I guess I'm the only gamer in TF that uses his right middle finger.
