That classic lua really just means 1.0, so it won't have any of the new stuff like the locations and objective icons.
But I think all that was changed were the team and class limits, which you can easily do to the default lua if you want. |

Yeah, that is what I figured. It's not a problem, if I can code my own gamemode for a map, modifying hunted is a non-issue.

I didn't play if for long, but things I noticed rather quickly:
Pyro is much stronger and the IC is crazy badass. HW is no longer easily killed and I like that. The SG is tougher, but in the circumstances I fought it it was still easily killed with just a few flame grenades and a frag grenade. (as well were the poor engineers who wouldn't run away) The visuals and the movement were much better and much smoother. I had no lag problems or anything, thankfully and played fluently. (still kinda sucked though lolzors) All in all I think it's a great patch. There's always small things to complain about, and it seems we're running out of big things that actually damage the game play and the like. It's turning out quite nicely and it's great to see the work you devs did pay off. |

The new IC ass-badery gives him extra strenght, in terms of psychological power. Enemies fear the new, sexy sound of death whenever a raging skull is shot from the Cannon, giving the Pyro an additional +14 Strength during the attack.

my first impressions.. still looks good, runs smooth on my old specs, though havent tested the new maps yet, i still see a few bugs, that were on, when 1.0 was out, spectators first of all. if you spec a person, and the person dies, it just switches to the next, and when it does, the name on the bottom doesnt follow, also theres still that non textured square inside ppl, kinda makes me think, why make new stuff instead of fixing some old bugs? and its no offense, but if such bugs from 1.0 still are on, when you have released 2.1, then what are you dev's even doing? making new maps, new gameplay and stuff, instead of getting some small bugs fixed? also, the good old bug with teleports, when you're on a concmap for example, and you hit the floor with a velocity, the speed continues through the tele, and not stopping, like in good old tfc. else, nice work.

I need to get better at aiming with it as I really do feel the pyro can replace a soldier on maps where the soldier can't reload fast enough (startec... eww) to compete with the offense. I really just wish the flamethrower was more than a light n' switch weapon.

I thought the pyro did more damage now too (which works for me), though the devs here were saying otherwise. Thanks for going Mythbusters on us Credge.
