Renting a server

Sorry if this has been posted, but where do we find (UK) server hosts that are reasonably priced and are able to have a server up and running for the day of release?

Obviously if the host is affiliated with and has supported the mod over the years then that’d be a bonus.

I’m looking for 1-3 months hosting.

We (Multiplay) should be hosting servers as soon as we can get pricing/allocation sorted.

Unfortunately I doubt this will be for release day if the server package isn't being released until the day before release

Frustrating as I'm really trying to pimp FF to my bosses so we can get some competive pricing sorted/lots of public servers allocated asap!

I think the devs should release the server files a bit sooner, at least to a ‘select few’, such as sponsors or whatever.

I hope Multiplay do get server going for Monday as they’re bloody good at what they do and their network is the best around imo, but obviously all this comes at a price and they’re almost always considerably more expensive than other servers.

There’s a hell of a market for whoever gets in there first.

Also, is there any way the server can jump between FF and TF2? It's been a while since I've rented a server. Would also like reserved slots for my steamID as I think it'd be a bummer if everyone locked their (FF) servers on release.

Server hosters will probably be getting the files soon-like.

We should have some good pricing as we do with CS:S, so I don't forsee us pricing ourselves out of the market.

With our servers, if you pay an extra £5 on top, you can have a second game at your disposal, enabling you to switch from one game profile to another (See here for more info on that)

Would be nice, I'm hopefully being allocated a number of servers to run as publics, ideally going live on release day
