[WIP] Explosion embers

Ok. So after i took the smoke out, i decided to go a bit further and take the explosions completely out. And i was left with nothing but burning embers, which i thought looked pretty cool, plus they let me know where the explosion used to be.

This is my first test. Any other ideas besides some ghey green flowery things?

I'm waiting for someone to call this a sort of cheating just like clear explosion sprites are.

Well. I didnt see anything on UGC about it, if it is o well. Guess i wont play league then. The only thing i consider a cheat, to do with textures, is stuff you can see thru walls.

It's a cheat because you can see through spam.

Anyway to block these from my server? Which sv_pure value? Would that affect custom models and such?

How often do i play pickups? Anyway. Find me something that says its a cheat for FF. Just like people said the bulletholes, and pipes where a cheat. I could care less. I'll use it regardless.

Increasing visibility of models/sprites is one thing. Seeing through things that you aren't meant to see through is entirely another thing.

I see your point. But, I personally dont spam just to block someones visibility. One thing is, You can disable muzzleflash now. Thats something thats not meant to be seen through. Its not that big, but it does take something off the screen that otherwise would be a visiblity blocker. Its not like i kept it in the closet, guarding it like some secret. I posted it here to get input, and so everyone would have a chance to use it.

So in conclusion. Please lock this thread, and I'll just keep my modding to myself now. Maybe I can work on some maps that people will enjoy.

The explosion in ff don't block as much as they did in tfc anyways
