New Win XP Pro Version: SP2c - Now with more CD Keys!

So it seems that Microsoft has made a new version of XP Pro... However the only change is that it now has more Keys since the number of keys are quickly shrinking because of it heavy usage. "SP2c" is only for XP Pro since there seems to be enough home keys to go around.

Weird, I would think they would be doing anything they can to steer people away from XP and towards Vista at this point.

There's not much they can do. People want and need XP. Remember that there many people who are running system 4 years and older. Those users simply CANNOT upgrade to Vista. There are also some new computer that run XP better then Vista. You must also remember that it will take years for everyone to transfer over.

The average user buys a new computer every 4 or 5 years (or so I've been told). This means that it will take years for Vista to become what XP is. Remember, XP didn't just become king overnight... Although the fact that Windows ME was totally ass did help. Many businesses were still used Windows 2K until just a few years ago.

While I currently am staying with XP... I know that when it comes time to build a new rig... it HAS to be able to run Vista. Compatibility will come eventually.
