Yeah they use a MILES codec for sound by default... if you can get another one as a .dll you can use it instead, though. sv_voicecodec <nameofdll> I believe.

that's the thing, i believe you could change the codec in tfc but you were stuck with whatever the default codec is in source games

I think the wireframe stills don't do it justice. It appears that there will be transition animations between levels. It doesn't like like the engy will just wack the level 1 sentry and all of a sudden a level 2 appears.

speex is default in source.
I dont think you can even use the old crappy miles one in it.

If it sounds like shit, it's the shitty admin that turned down the quality. Because he's shit.

That was a Source command. THEORETICALLY it's changeable.
