The maps sound too boring to be running on the source engine. How about adding some sound escapes to the maps? Really, it will make the mod a lot better. Hwguy does remind me of something, I just can't remember either. I also believe that he needs some extra fat in him. Good luck.

HW Guy isn't as buff as I would like. Hell, I'd settle for fat. Beer belly ftw.

WE were all hearing from MM about this new scout ability. Is that still in the works or have I missed it somewhere? Was MM just a little loosy goosy? By the way excellent job. I think the HWG AC sound though does need to be a little beefier. It may just be a little EQ or something, if you could boost the low 350 - 150 range and cut a little of the mid range 1K to 500Hz, might get a little fuller sound, and not so Thin of a sound.

I have questions for you guys.
1. The bridge on well looks wrong, if you look at the bridge floor (metal) texture then you can actually see that it's scaled up comparing when looking at the ground near the bridge.. why? 2. I've seen well map have changed some. First of all if you look at the cliffs .. 3. If you take a look at the asphalt texture in shutdown2 then you can see that the walls of the red base look weird because grass is seen on them. why didn't you kept the nature grass and replaced to asphalt now? Keep working on it, be strong. |

One thing that really dissapoints me from FF's first release is that they won't include HDR with it. I mean, all the user has to own is ANY of the Source SDK based games (CSS, DODS, EP1/EP2/EP3 ETC).
HDR > * One serious question: How close are the maps towards completion? Which maps are almost completely finished? What about the others? Ofire? 2fort? Etc? Are we ever gonna see those maps soon? Which maps are planned to be released in the first release? All of the maps from your official list? |

Most HDR effects in games that I've seen so far have been crazily overexaggerated and more annoying than anything else.

True, but, your forgot that the FF team are pros and that they can get HDR where it is just perfect.

No SirTiger, you have no idea. See, this may be surprising, but not everybody is running the same level machine. Some people are running older machines that can't handle all that fancy HDR.
So do us a favour and shut up about things you don't know anything about. |

On a serious note, everything looked perfect to me, except the HWGuy. He looked kinda wimpy; he looked he was wearing a big jumpsuit with a helmet. I expected him to look more like a 300 pound bad ass mother fucker who's gonna kick your ass, not a big dude in a jump suit. Not to mention that the AC barrels on the player models look like they are made out of four polygons each. But other than that, it's perfect.
