[Request]HEV Suit Hands
Can someone replace standard FF hands in weapon models with HEV Suit hands from HL2 or HL:S HD Pack? Or at least port rocket launcher from HL:s HD pack to FF

Thank you very much, Jester! This looks badass, but can have a lot of tweaks though :
-Rocket should stay in receiver until it's been shot - First rocket loading anim is way slower than loading anims of other rockets. - I think model is a little bit shifted out of screen Other than that, great work! |

The receiver thing is straight from the other model.
I made the other reload animations faster because the FF rpg reloads the rounds after the first quicker, listen to it. It's not shifted because it's a direct port.. |

I love this rocket launcher/animation. Except when i was playing, it started flickering wildly and phasing in and out and not doing the right animations. What happened!?

well i can't use sdk to view mdl's etc its being gay, so from now on jester plz post some screenshot's plz, i know you test it in-game before you release it, so just press f5 and we have a screenshot. :P

When i create my own server, the animations work fine. When i connect to a real server, it does the flickering and non-animation stuff on the rocketlauncher reload.

Sounds like some thing cause by lag, I seen that happen with other weapons when I lag. The animation loops

I heard someone say it disappears and stuff like Mushy said. Ah yes good ole' StrYdeR . I havent tried it cuz i like the FF rpg , minus the rocket clip.

I tried to Fraps it, but it did a different animation (one of more disappearing) then normal. I cant use fraps because it makes me get 10 fps and that doesnt show much of anything. It cant be about ping, because it does the normal flicker animations on 80 ping and on 320 ping. It isnt fps based because in an empty server with 200 fps, it does it, and a server with 30 fps, it does it. When my fps got down to 10 from Fraps, it just disappeared instead of flickering.

Sounds like the length & speed & number of idle/attack/reload animations are different from the stock FF rpg? All v_model animations i've done always needed to be server-side as well. Only if they differed from the normal model, though..?
