FF_CHARYBDA2 [RELEASE]
Last Update: 2009/04/19.

I've spent alot of time tweaking this map and i finally feel ready to release it. So now it's open for public to download. Hope you enjoy the map!

Also.. i cant change the current status of this map, nor the first thread. Id like it if some admin could take care of this problem. Thank you.

You will be concing through another part of the facility with new looks but with very much the same grayish theme. It will also contain more effects and a bit harder jumps than the last map. And ofc a proper endroom with a DM area for those bored with concing.

Blue team: Concing
Class: Scout, Medic.
Red team: Quad
Class: Pyro, Soldier & Demoman.

Yellow team: DM
Class: All except Civi!
Green team: DM
Class: All except Civi!

Sweet, part one was a bitch to beat, this should be interesting, though I'm not that good at conc maps

I was never good enough to beat part one, but I still tried like 50 times on each jump. All I have to say is fuck YEAH, this map was quality.

I see Charybda have another secret facility. I suspected this but this proves it. Is it true about the rumors if the kind of research done at Charybda #2? Degenerated human test subjects? Maternal deprivation? I never got what purpose these experiments actually aim towards? Beneficial for human kind or just another top secret military facade?

I promise you that no stone will be left unturned once the door opens for the public. And I expect the truth can be found in the end room?

p.s. conc_fortress as bonus material ftw

lol. I've been learing alot since the last map and i will try to stay away from tiny holes since i had to face alot of angry people because of that jump.

I've also had my focus at the jumps this time trying to make them bigger since some factions like airbreak makes it hard to conc in small areas. Not to mention the difference between concing and quading and its difficulty.

And Llama, you never know whats coming! ff_concfortress will be released, but its still a mess to work with!

Thats true. First charybda was released when quad still was under developement. I might revise that version of charybda later and make some small adjustments!
