It's terribad, it really is, it's so full of crap it, using the word shit would be impolite for the definition.

Level 20 and you still look like you're level 1. The quests are annoyingly bad. The only good point i guess it's the graphics, the rest, it's all shit.

LOTRO would have been great if they didn't try to copy EQ2's combat mechanics I.E. the wheel. The graphics weren't that hot. Sure, compared to WoW they are b-b-b-b-ballin' but so are EQ2's or DDO's. What made it even lamer is the fact that you sort of 'know' what is going to happen as your progress in level. Even further, you meet all the neat guys right away.

Even fucking further, in MMO's, you generally fight everyone. Where is Frodo as a boss? What about Gimli? Lame. "BUT FRODO AND GIMLI ARE GOOD GUYS!" I don't give a shit. So was Tunare.

Higher poly count in the LOTRO shots lead to more realistic scenery.

Again, higher poly count makes for more realistic, and in this case, much more attractive models.

LOTRO is the better looking game. It's pretty simple. The comparison, though, is like comparing Call of Duty 1 with Call of Duty 4. The simple fact that LOTRO is newer pretty much assures that the graphics will be better. Further testament to this is the fact that you can play WoW with an 18 year old system and you can't do the same with LOTRO.

This isn't to say that WoW isn't any good, though. WoW is far superior of a game, but that's not saying much.

It's the same for the base game for both games. It's also the same monthly. The expansion makes WoW more expensive, but that's sort of a 'duh' sort of thing.

The models have not changed from WoW to Lich King due to there not being any increase in the poly count.

The scenery has not changed from WoW to Lich King due to there not being any increase in the poly count.

Also, for the scenery I looked across the net for the best. For the models I stuck to their websites.

LOTRO has better graphics simply because it is newer and technology permits it. Even when WoW was released, the graphics were considered its biggest draw back.

LOTRO is supposed to be serious, most blizzard games (Bar Diablo and starcraft?) Are known for being slightly cartoony/quirky (IMO. IF NOT, DISREGARD FLAILING PENISES.)
