What ever happened to Mirror Damage?

I havent seen a TFC server with mirror dmg in years. Back when TFC was in its first year or 2 though like 1/4th the servers had it.

I miss crouch jumping on teammates nades to watch then blow up and going spy as an enemy sniper on their battlements and having your own snipers headshot themselves.

Was a great game mode for Spies too, no "Spy checks" (normal FF diddnt help for that on pubs ;P)

It still exists. Thank God most people don't seem to know about it. Mirror damage is retarded.

You can kill yourself in the heat of battle because a teammate just happened to be sorta close to your mini-nuke grenade that has a 5 mile blast radius.

It was so fun. I mean, it would be horrible for normal everyday gameplay but when your board and just wanna screw around and play with somethin a bit different it was great.

You could stand infront on engie SG's, sit on a det pack right after a Demo set it, and he just looks at you all mad knowing the inevitable is coming.

Oh man, some of the best classics are jumping on a teammates nade that he dropped at death, cause he would blow up inside respawn.

i never really saw servers play with mirror damage, i say FF is either on or off. its just about if the admins take control of their servers.

played a lot on mirror dmg servers. ppl finally started to prime grenades proper instead of spaming at everything they see.

i disagree. even if there's pros in there its still a hassle to try to not hit yourself and try to not hit your team while trying to hit the other team.

It's still stupid. Even when you're not mindlessly spamming, TFC's ultra-huge grenade radius will sometimes make you hit other people. Mirror damage = terrible.

Yea but its so terrible it can be fun. Like playing on glass maps in CS :P
You dont play them too show off your crazy skills, you play them to piss around in the chaos :P
