Good plan, then. I didn't add it to the post, but I was thinking that if its intent is to be like a backup then that'd be sweet as. But yeah, no need for an additional community, really.

The idea is to give mappers, modelers, and moders a community that would better fit there needs. Don't worry... none of us want to split the FF community. |

But... FF's site will be doing that. They want it to be THE place to get anything FF-related. That was my whole point.

Should have official FF map packs of anything that makes the grade hosted on torrents. An annoying part of cs:s servers is that maps can be tough to get a hold of or no one has the map so they jump to a new server, and that's why barely any servers play a ton of custom maps, empty servers. You guys should make an in game in to map torrents if you run into a server that doesn't allow dowloading.

There'll prolly be a map pack released if they're finished before the need for a patch.

Good luck with the site. TFC got a huge boost from popular 3rd party sites like the Catacombs, Planet Fortress, Custom TFC etc.
http://www.custom-tfc.co.uk/ Is gone. Thats where I found the best weapon sprite ever. Now if FF had a custom mapping site or custom model/sprite site etc I could maybe find it again and instructions on how to place it into FF. |

If it comes down to it, I can shoot some emails out to a couple buddies in the business and see if I can get ahold of something. |
