I think someone asked earlier if rock2 was going to have more realistic cells in the prison, to which the answer is yes I believe. Expect the cells to be quite similar to the ones in HL2 in the prison level. The gas chamber will also have an extra route to make capping possible.

Very nice update!
As for the site changes: One of the reasons the media page messes up in Firefox is because wrapping anchor tags around divs is a huge no-no in HTML. You can't use an entire div as a link. It's invalid. Just pop it in to an HTML editor like Dreamweaver and turn on invalid syntax highlighting. It's the first thing that pops up. Also, some of your divs have duplicate attributes (2 style="" for example) which is also invalid. Code:
<div class="screenshot_crop" style="background-image: url('./media/thumbs/ff_rock2_2.jpg');" style="cursor:pointer;cursor:hand;"> You have to have a header on your page such as: Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" > If you get stuck fixing any of the web page errors and need any help fixing them, e-mail me or PM me and I'd be glad to help. I'm glad you're switching everything to CSS based design, but it can be a little tricky at first since designing that way is much less forgiving to invalid syntax. EDIT: That section of code I pasted you seemed to be the only major error. It's on line 69. Put the <a> inside the <div> instead of outside, and fix the duplicate style="" attributes and it may even work correctly. |

Here's the problem with the website not displaying correctly in Firefox, according to the people who matter *.
It's one of these weird mixes of styling where the site's half done in CSS (good and proper separation of content from text) and half done with styling on the page. Which is weird, cos a nice clean design like that can easily be done with CSS + strict XHTML (and not using tables for main site layout ). * Firefox doesn't need XHTML Strict, obviously. But we may as well get it right If you want default markup checking, here it is. |

RobG, I completely agree.
And while every error is a serious one, most of those errors in the W3C Validator are because a block-level element (the DIV tag) is placed inside an inline-level element (the A tag). I have a feeling that most of the display errors are due to that fact. And while it would be great to have every single error on that page fixed, I'd just like to be able to view it in Firefox the way it was meant to be displayed. =) |

I've noticed another problem with the media page in Firefox... it adds "?a=media" twice, and so everything is replaced with a very upset Chiyo-chan.
