Overlays aren't reflecting any light

I need help getting my overlays to show up. My map doesn't have any light entities, only the automatic light.

not really. Source uses totally pre-computed lighting. if you release a map fullbright, no one will play it, it'll be considered unfinished. Lighting can be difficult, but there are numerous tutriols on the net. look on the source SDK wiki, and www.interlopers.net

Yes. Fullbright maps don't get unplayed. Unless the map is a quick remake of a classic map, people won't play your map unless it's got decent lighting. It also has to look good and play better.

People are very finicky with this stuff. All that should matter is how it plays, but most people won't bother unless it looks and plays great.
