How many other games out there are like this one huh? Maybe other Fortress style ones, but none seem to capture it quite like this one. The graphics rock, the sounds rock, the speed rocks, the classes rock, the gameplay rocks, and you know what else rocks?.....the devs rock...'cause they still continue to give a shit about making it great, even though there are only about 200 regular players, and many others bitching about it.

Do I give a crap about HL2 style art on certain maps?....Hell no! Isn't that the point? No one is or was bitching about TFC having HL1 art styles....that was the point...why do you think they (Valve) called it TF Classic? I like HL2 a lot and it gives me a certain vibe to be getting my Fortress on in some similar surroundings.....and I'm damn sure that Valve even appreciates this...why wouldn't they? It's as much a homage to TFC as it is to Team Fortress in general.

Do I give a crap about SGs being blown up a bit faster?....not really....I just keep building them, and pray my team gives me enough time to upgrade them.

Do I give a crap about certain maps being faster or slower than each other?...Fuck no! That's the whole point of having different maps! I mean how cool would it be to play on the same damn map......FOREVER?!? It wouldn't be....as if I needed to tell anyone this.... I got a hint for you....if a certain class is not working for you on a certain map....pick a different class! OR!.....ADAPT and have fun with it!

Just cause I don't want this rant to go on any further.....cause it doesn't need to....I'll just give my solution to whatever problems you might be having with FF...

You know what I do?....I just play baby! Any one else feeling the stuff I'm laying down?

Well, actually I do give a fuck about many things in FF...but those things are done pretty damn good. What I don't give a crap about are the really tiny things that only have a negative bearing on the game if you let them....so I just play.

Maybe my point should have been:"this game is very evolved and progress is being made all the time towards making everything that is already awesome about this game even more awesome." Definitely, if we don't criticize, then nothing can improve. However, too much criticism can create a lack of motivation, and that's just as bad as a lack of criticism. On this forum, there's TONS of criticism, but not very much appreciation (or, maybe there is, and I'm just blind). That's fine, but I think we can all agree that the devs deserve a nice, great big "Thank you!" for their hard work and dedication, and putting up with all of us! I think this is the point that Peon was trying to make.

So, THANK YOU, FF DEVS. You guys OWN! Without you, none of us would be here. Personally, I thank you all very much for giving me the ability to snipe people, TFC style, with modern graphics.
