Fileplanet leads you to believe you can only be in the beta if you are a FP member. You should find out fairly quick that it isn't a FP exclusive thing like they pretend it is. Its just Gamespy's way of getting more money and poisoning the gaming community.

I have a job... and a car that needs gas and insurance, and a sizable college debt... FP owner, employees, and stock holders (if its even public) make and have more than i do... so, what exactly is there to compell me?

I need some new games, I may have to check them out. I'm not a fan of many WW2 RTS's but I've heard good things about Company of Heroes. Besides Call of Duty, I haven't found any decent WW2 FPS single player games and I'm not a fan of the "one man army" style that CoD has done.

The CoH beta kinda ruined retail for me, so I might give this one a miss.
Supreme commander does look shit hot though. |

The December PC Gamer has an article on this game. Looks interesting...definitely something worth buying from what I can tell!
