Calling UK-FF Players!!!!

I am calling out all UK-Clans!!! www.ugcleague.com Come play Fortress Forever in a very fair, stable league. I am sure if enough of you join up we can think of rules to accommodate you people in the most pleasant way possible. Possibly one round on clan A's server/country, then one round on clan B's server/country.

Just a thought!! I know USA teams are hungry for competition and so I hear UK teams are hungry as well. Bring it on fuck faces!

no idea how many clans there are from various parts of the world atm, but obviously historically UK clans/players have been part whole euro league scene. i don't know where the best server locations are that keep ppl from as many euro countries as possible as happy as possible (the UK is one of the better locations afaik tho). anyway, my point is that the UK isn't a scene all on it's own, it's part of the euro stuff.

so is what you're actually suggesting is a worldwide FF league (aimed mainly at USA/euro clans/players, but open to anyone), where you play a round on each clan's server to make it fair. if so, yeah that would be a great way of getting more clans to play against and better competition going, but it should definitely be as-well-as not instead-of region specific leagues (e.g. a league that says match servers must be hosted in a specific region) because many clans/players won't want the only leagues available to be pld on laggy servers.

Maybe like Caesium said make an in-addition to region specific league later on down the road?

well doesn't need to be later, it could be anytime! my point was just that it has to be in additional to regional leagues. a truly worldwide league would be pretty cool tho ye

Don't understand you Vinny, the UK players ping about the same to US servers as Dutch/Belgian/French/German players, and the language barrier is also not a problem. And yeah, there's only one UK clan afaik.

Maybe we could trade servers for the week before for practices to adjust? Just have a server admin come in and change things when needed, neh?
