It's no biggy really, but I wanted to post something postive, even if alittle bit premature.

Obviously, as you can read in my signature, the PMFFL(UK based league) died a long time ago. We had some problems, obviously issues with FF player activity being the main one.

I've decided, over a period of time, to be developing with some friends of mine, an actual gaming hub that offers several games. The main point of interest will be a Fortress Forever gaming division. I don't intend on making it a huge site with lots and lots of games information(where people tend to skip some of the quieter types..). Just several main projects, where an community can be established along with players from a little MMO we will be running at same time.

Which I think is the interesting twist here because, obviously Fortress Forever is FPS.. whilst the other game is an MMO(alittle outdated but hugely addictive))..

No website.. no nothing yet.. it is 'hot air' for now, and I got work tomorrow, but im very keen on trying to resurfance some life into what seemed(at the time) a very stagnent and disappearing UK/western european Fortress Forever populace.

Which is ironic because the very same, once loved MMO has practically died because of the license holder(legal matters being negated as its not P2P).

I'll be writing more information tomorrow with an actual host address, and some more information. We hope to hype up our site, as Fortress Forever itself also makes a push at same time. We'll be aiming to actually hit alot of free advertisement within lots of communities sites specifiying Fortress Forever and the other game.

As of now, if you have any kind of interest in becoming a moderator, however also a heavy and frequent poster(to drive the forum/community), send me a message.

Had numerous interests from players of the MMO, and a couple of private messages on the boards here.

Looking good in terms of actual postings on our place holder board here at http://www.mythofsoma.org.uk/ <-- Being used until we buy a domain name.. working on names as of now!

There isnt as such a dedicated Fortress Forever section, will change soon.

Things are progressing nicely currently. Our forums have now moved to

http://forum.mythofsoma.org.uk - Again a placeholder whilst we establish a gaming portal name and host.

I've applied Vicous as a dedicated forum mod for the particular Fortress Forever section.

Most of hte users currently are past Myth of Soma players, who are not aware of Fortress Forever but may very well have Half-Life2. Please feel free(encourage you too!) to post on these forums and create abit of activity, you'll find alot of people acting questions about it once life is shown there.

Anyway. Thanks for the support, so much work to do.. and so much going in IRL too.. i need to actually sit still and web dev
