Question

is there a hight restricton on how high you can build a map?
if you want to build a map thats high do u have to start the base at the bottom of the grid ?

im a dumb shit i know but i like to know stuff :P:P

Yes, there is a limit on how high a map can be. It is up to you whether you want you start from the bottom of the grid or not. You can always select all and move everything a bit more down so you can fit the rest for the top. So really, it doesn't matter where you start on the grid, you can easily move things around. All I can think of is some Garrys mod map where I can drop loads of stuff and watch it falling. *drool*

well i may try and make a real high map al tho as stated before im a no0b to it
im currently making a freefall type map so that my hit the top of the grid..i started that at the middle of the grid and hit the top lol

umm the last time I tried to make a map that went to about 4/5 of the way the the edge of the grid on all sides, and it compiled fine, but when you try and run the map, it says that borders are reached or whatever. So try not making it so tall

no im not gonna go way over the top lol just gonna make it high enough so u can just bearly see the ground ... i have got to the point were it just looks dull and boring so im gonna restart it and try and make it look a bit more like a source map than a normal tfc map....also in the works is a map called big city..i actully got hold of the orginal maker of the map and ive had the goahead to do it so it could be intresting lol

Not if it was just a straight juggle; with some variation, pre-primes and strafing, it would be good. Bc_pacman comes to mind when I think of fun concmaps :P
