OT OT OT.... why the pain? I was playing today and since I have a halo changed my name to "red halo of death". Anyway after about 5 maps I got stuck on an edge of a map corner and said "shit I am stuck". Because I was defending the tunnel on aardvark...

... kicked and banned for 500,000 minutes. You have a filter on it, I don't get the excessive responses. But oh well it's your server. Maybe in five hundred thousand minutes (or maybe it was millions I don't know) I'll play with my mark fo the beast halo once again. 500,000 minutes is ONLY 347 days! See you next year perhaps.

Dude... we tried to warn you. When you asked for a perm ban review the last time (5/20) and it was lifted we explained that we had implemented the new progressive banning system. We told you that your next ban would end up being huge and that you should be extremely careful.

http://forums.oldtimersclan.com/scuz...M_0:0:15486504

You swore anyway and it banned you for a month. Today's was the next one, which ended up being a year. I'm sorry chief, there's not much I can do.

My point is, it's filtered NO ONE sees it. At any rate maybe I'll see ya one day over there next year. I mean shit...

Oops.

PS Thanks for getting me unbanned the first time. c'est la vie

//EDIT nice tool console. I had the laugh because the "shit my eye" occurance was when some dude got a really good snipe on me, right in the face the lazer hit my hud and :whack:. And no one on the server saw it.

It doesn't filter it, everyone sees what you type. Filtering it would be far more complex and cause lag issues.

I guess I never knew that since it kicks me and I never see the screen. I am pretty sure NFO has a filter.

Perhaps, but ours is probably significantly more complicated. It knows the difference between shit, sh!t, and shhhh1111t.

tying to get around filters is one thing. I haven't messed around with my server for a while but I don't know how a filter could be any more lag intesive than an autoban system. At any rate I wish I would have type "Shoot I am stuck" instead but as stated, that's life. Peace.

Ack I was done but then I went and looked at the "llama list" that llama on there is hilarious. But most players, really almost all the players I like to play with are on there. They may say a "shit" once in a while or a "retard" but overall the player interaction is excellent. Ok done now. Peace. You can close this scuzzy if you want.

If they are on the Llama list we both know it wasn't once in a while, you have to work to get that first ban, from there its all downhill.
