WOAH....... all this over a game console?! [The Xbox 360]
I went to Game Stop the other day and some mother picks up the Xbox 360 she reserved as a Christmas present for her son right? Well after she purchases it the clerk asks "Would you like a security guard to escort you to your car?" she laughs, but then the clerk says "No, I'm serious." It turns out people have been mugging people's Xbox 360s when they walk out of the store. Now I remember when the PS2 first came out people were selling them in the back of vans and on EBay for about $1000 but they weren't stealing them! Not to mention 360s are going for alot of money on EBay right now, I know of cases were they have gone for $8000.
An EB games was held at gun point until they handed over two Xbox 360s. And when two people cut in line to get a ticket voucher for the 360, they got beat with baseball bats! Both of the above stories can be found here The PS2 launch was crazy but this is insane! All this for a game console....thats just crazy! |

Fucking morons. I miss the olden days of non-mainstream gaming. No one did this shit for an Atari.

I bet Circ is right, no one did this for an Atari.
And now if what I have read is true there have been deaths as well from thefts of the system. Fucking lunatics, thinking a game console is more important than a human life. |

This is why I'm glad I have a pc.
Though I may get a Gamecube sometime soon, since I missed Mario, Zelda, and Samus and the games are like $20 now |

Indeed, I have an SNES, N64, and pc emulator for SNES, and that's probably the extent of my console collection ever. My dad is buying a 360, but I don't see him much
I do'nt really like consoles, especially on FPS. Aiming on a joystick with your thumb is really counter-intuitive. |

I'm 20.
I had a 2600 when I was really young (and about 50 games), but for the life of me I can't remember what happened to it. The only games I really remember were Spider-Man and Journey. Good times... although Journey gave me a nightmare.

Right now, ps2 is very affordable. I'm probably going to outsmart all those dolts who pay 300+ for the system and just hold out till the price goes down!
I know a girl who bought over $700 in 360 stuff for her boyfriend for Christmas. (450 on ebay for the 360) Funny thing is, he got here a $30 set of shampoo's and lotions, of which was on the spot while they were shopping to gether. She was so pissed. But hey, who can match a $700 unexpected present? lol |

she's an idiot for spending that much money on the dolt.
I just spent an hour and a half playing 1943, SMB3, and Gradius II, which was never released in the US. <3 |

anyway.. woot go revolution! nintodo = fun games xbox 360 = ooh I can see the swet on this basketball player's forehead. See the problem for me (which is why I have come to love tfc) is that if you go the realism route you will always fail as there will always be things to improve on and things that still are not realistic.. if you go the fun route and make a game that is actualy fun to play.. then who the hell cares |

Insanity, what is this world coming to. Criminality seems to be exponentially relative to the earth's overpopulation rate.
In the near future we will be living in a piss poor global dystopia world. Everbody plundering and killing each other for as little as a ham cheese sandwich. |

And they wont even be hungry. They'll just be inccidentally creating a horrific game of kill the guy with the sandwich as the next criminaly insane person jumps the sandwhich toting dimwit before he can realise what's going on. Thus starting a frightening chain of sandwich related killings across the world. |
