Bots are for training only.

No they aren't.

They will make it into an update in the near future. I got tied up working on the training map scripting and wasn't able to finish either. It's coming though.

Nice! I was thinking about asking the same but feared gay responses. I personally like playing with bots over people sometime.

i REALLY hate bots, its what killed TFc for me, so hard to find a good server that had people and not just a server with like 3 people and 8 bots.

the steam server browser blows in that respect you cant filter out bot servers only use that idiot bot icon.

personally i hope that bots will forever only be able to be used when soemthing like sv_lan is set to 1 or if its a listenserver only.

If you are ingame in CSS, the bots don't count as players in the player count.

I knew the bots were coming later on due to the omnibot info in the console

There's a UI in for it, if you're that intersted its ff_gametype (I think) In console.

Well I only want bots as a option in game like you create your own server with bots, not bots for hosted servers lol.

I feel ya but better that the devs hardcode bots into the game and make them really well than some other jackass making inferior bots and having them on every "dustbowl 24/7 ff off we suck cocks" server.

DrEvil is the only one working on bots right now, and it's pretty much all he does. So there's no reason to not let him do it.
