Without scrutinising the screenshots too much, I can honestly say this is one of the most professional looking HL2 mods to date.
You've also managed to 'HL2-ise' an old map, which until now was something I only thought valve were capable of doing. Thank you. |

u should have the tree root poke a hole through the ceiling, and also through one of the pipes, MAKING ACID LEAK!
acid leak part is lame :\ the tree thing would be AWSOME |

one suggestion:
change the floor to dirt or stone. it's not really a personal pref, but seeing how this base looks like it's embedded underground (the battlements screenshot has grass beyond its fence), it just doesn't seem right that the lower ground has grass. |

if u want to get picky it actually does make sense.
sun shines through, water gets through with rain, grass grows, paths are worn in by the regular attacking routes. makes perfect sense as to why its grass and not stone/dirt. plus it looks better ;o |

tfc doesnt need to make sense :P its about keeping the same feeling throughout the mpas for myself and fair enough that would happen if grass was outside on every map but that aint gonna happen

The post asking about before and after shots got me wanting to see, so I went and checked. This is my first attempt at doing something like this, so go easy on the n00b. Also, I wasn't *certain* about locations, so I just got as close as I thought I could. Anyhow, there's an astonishing difference between the mind's eye and the sweet sweet candy that is the future!
became: became: became: I'm in love! Sorry to break the page up like this, but I figured someone else would be interested! |

Thank you so very much for posting those screencaps, Uno1_. They're a real help for players like myself who haven't played the map (or any other, for that matter) in months~

Good thing you're not worried if people make that mistake, otherwise you'd have the wrong hobby!

I really like the tree on top I think it add's something diffrent to all of the concrete, and also adds a sense of "Your down in this big ass base behind concrete walls, and way up there is ground level with the cool tree "
Seriously though, I do like the tree, dunno why exactly, it just seems to click |
