That shotgun looks like the blue shift one.

If it is based off it please don't make it reload in the middle of the screen like the blue shift one did.

All weapons should reload by taking up less of the screen than they did when they're not reloading. The Quake RL being a very good example.

Oh, and I think you may want to limit the Trepid's to posting pictures that express the inner workings of their brain, as they seem to f*ck it all up when it comes to words.

I suspect from what i have read on these forums that it will be more like TFC than quake fortress. Just taking some cool elements from them, like trimping (i think this is from qft, etf), which sounds cool. TFC is also imbalanced in some ways that needs addressing, such as pyro being too weak.

Nice update, this mod really seems to be heading in the right direction and we'll hopefully see a release soon! Awesome work on the team logos, I assume it was decs who made them - nice work dude! <3
Bases and canalzon are looking great too, although I'm not sure from what area on canalzon that picture is taken? Anyway, keep it up!

For God's sake, why do you people want a TFC port?! Don't you realize that TFC had flaws? A new game with the same flaws is an old game. If you've got such a chubby for TFC, keep playing TFC.

Bokko, I think the cz2 screenshot is just outside one of the exits to blue spawn. Although the wall in the center of the screenshot seems to be lacking a ladder.

Oh. All he did was join two quotes together to show a spelling mistake - hardly takin' it out of context.

Also. Just because YOU don't like Quake doesn't mean everyone must agree with you. A large number of the FF player base will be people that do not primarily play TFC. Excluding those from FF aint a good idea.

Take it elsewhere, you guys. I don't really care whether someone made a spelling error or that person x is upset that person y posted about a spelling mistake! I doubt anyone else does, either.

This isn't Quake. Stop saying it is. This isn't TFC. Stop wanting it to be. This is a Fortress mod with some heavy influence from TFC and QTF, meaning that you're getting a hybrid. The movement is going to be from TFC, the class structures will be as well (with some obvious fixes to make pyros and snipers useful) and the look of it is amazing. Complex maps are NOT bad things.
Also, if you want a direct port of TFC, buy HL2 (Silver package) and play HL1:S. That game sucks balls, I'd take HL1 over HL1:S any day.

The devs are doing an outstanding job to make this mod both fun to play and DIFFERENT from what's happened before.

looks great, the only thing I'm not dancing too is that weird thing on top of the shotgun (whatever it's supposed to be... some kind of adjustment aparatus or something?). I think it makes it a bit too... bulky looking, I guess?

the logos, knife, and the new bases look amazing, though.

Thanks for the Birthday gift guys! Looks great, im albeit a little hesitant on the logos, the red skull looks like monkey skull. But thats my opinion.

This is awesome, things are definitely getting in shape.

If there are a couple remarks I may make, it's that every single logo is awesome, but the "FF" on the blue and red ones is kind of overkill, even a bit corny tbh. Also, though I'm sure it's obvious and that it'll get fixed, in "bases" the pillars you can see in the bridge screenshot need their size or texture fixed. Also, the grass in the flagroom looks a bit out of place, either add more so it looks more natural and maybe shorten it.

The puzzle pieces really seem to be finally falling into place..
Is this a milestone update ? I think so.
