If you wanna come up with the chord progression, just tell me the chords and I'll play it. Coincidentally by dad just spent a few grand on a home recording studio today. It'll be afew days probably before it's up and running, but I can start putting rough stuff on.

it hink its bets to have chords or something laid down before you do the drums. and him dong the track does that. and then we could scrap it if it doesnt sound good.

GUITAR PART TO BE REDONE LATER, GOOD ENOUGH FOR DRUMS AND BASS FOR NOW.
Ok, here's the deal.
I recorded this shit really fast, it's clipping cuz I didn't even bother using the compressor on my beautiful but really dusty ATC-2, it's also really sucky (I learned what 12-bar blues was like only 2 days ago) BUT, it's a 12-bar blues 140bpm in A and it's good enough so that drums can be recorded. So, now Zoidberg will do the drums to that, then pass it to someone else for the bass and only then we can record a better guitar to replace this one with more caracter that fits the drum & bass. btw I did it in major cuz it seems we're gonna put funny lyrics on top of it so it'll fit better with a happy sound. So yeah, let's get this rolling, the song is only like 2:25 minutes so it's gonna be fast. Then for the next song we could get a voting system rolling to choose the key and other stuff like that, ok? cool. Link: http://www.yannricher.com/temp/ffblues-backguit.zip Zoidberg, when you're done, send me your drums track. I'll put everything in cubase to do the mix later on. It made me sleepy, but that's because I'm tired and the theme feels kinda lazy.
I liked it. |
