Anyways, most of the testers either knew a dev. team member or knew an existing beta tester. Some just got picked off of the forums because we got a good "feel" from them. Right now we're looking to up our number of people who aren't TFC junkies, especially if they've never played any TF mods. Sorry if that doesn't answer your question... hopefully it gives an idea tho!

I think, secretly, the dev team goes out and throws darts at a board with forum member's avatars stuck to it. Red Dart = Welcome to Beta, Blue Dart = Well, it's too late once you realize what the blue dart is for.

I drive a van for a living, it puts me deep in touch with the people, and thier views/wants in regaurds to FF, I would say these experiences would make me a prime tester...or something.
