However when I first read this thread I detected an underlying sentiment of sarcasm and parody. I found it hard to believe that anyone could play tfc for 12-14 hours a day on weekends over 2 years :\ like just dm'ing on mulch :\ Anyway I said what i wanted to say. Rock on all u vets and newbie tfc'ers out there...

hi....12-14 hrs a day for 1 summer, and maybe 3-4 hrs a day every day before/after that for proly 2-3 years total. And no sarcasm was meant. One other thing...I was not aware there was cheating going on...No one ever told me about it, I wasnt in the clan scene very much (a few weeks with FEAR)....I hope fortress forever is thinking of some kind of cheat prevention.

Its cool bwnzor_the_pwnz0r, thing is TFC has alot of baggage not all of it good. The Cats and Euro TFC community has given great support so far to the mod and we appreciated it greatly but with that comes old conflicts, cliques and arguments. Something I would like to avoid if possible.

i used to play like 12 hours a day. i don't know how i fitted school in with that. mostly just dmed as well, i heart the solly. i never play reg grav anymore though, exclusively low grav

yah I always hated Shark, I was in Knights of Death with him(I was there first) and he was one of the reasons why I quit.
Never heard of SUN so it may not be him, then again I havent played tfc in over 2 years.

lots of 404 members coming here and I'm glad to see it, they were a top TFC clan for many years and a respectable group of good guys.

Problem with Cheat Prevention is that it's like Anti-virus. It needs constant attention. Create a stronger anti-cheat...they come up with a sleazier scumbag.

As far as beating Shark goes...yeah, anyone can have an off day....Straight DM I don't think that his cheats would be as effective. I will tell you, playing mulch against my former clanmate Lancelot...I was tickled to death when I got the rare kill on him.

no matter what there will always be cheaters, and admins who r bitches and ban people for no reason, and spammers, and people who start vote kicks for no reason, so in short there will always be assholes.

i just hope that through this forum we might be able to keep it to a minimum eith by sharing banned.cfg files or creating a massive list or something

Old subject for another thread perhaps. It's been long discussed, debated and never resolved to the satisfaction of all. Similar subject I deal with IRL for my work is the sharing banlist for spammers. Not everyone agrees on how to implement....but, like I said...perhaps another thread to avoid a hijack here?

Holy crap!!! That name dospac sounds SOOO familiar.....PCXL...that was a magazine but i cant remember it being a clan. What clan were you with? Can you vouch for me.

Kinda annoyed that no one believes me, but i was really quite good. I like all the comments "everyone has an off day" - maybe, just maybe i can have this one victory in this one small corner of the gaming community with no qualifications...I dont think ill ever be that good at anything again in my life LOL.
