Day of Defeat: Source problem
Hey guys, i would like to know how you get rid of the game info on the bottom right of the hud. It's not a bug but it annoys me.
It shows: fps, in, out, ping, loss, choke I looked on the steam forums but found nothin I tried reinstallin dod (not only for this reason) and it got rid of it but then after a few servers it came up again. I've pressed every key on the keyboard but nothing works. plz help if you can |

That's kinda funny. Apparently servers are starting it for you nowadays?

I think Circ is serious, servers can dictate what rate you use, so I don't think it would be too far fetched to have them turn your net_graph on as well.

Yeah, I was genuinely wondering that. No other explanation for it to come on suddenly. I wouldn't put it past some server operators to do that sort of thing.

That vid card will run it fine, I've played HL2 on a 9600SE 128MB card. Seems like we both need a new 7900GT though... I can't play Oblivion with my 5700LE...

well this sucks cuz I bought the radeon about 6 months ago.
half life 2 runs great on top settings except for HDR lighting. tho im not really bothered about missing out on the brightness turning up and down by itself. All games I have run great on the card except for really old games and (sniff) half life 1. It plays, it runs but I can't turn the brightness up or colors up or it will just turn to software rendering and crash everywhere |

Adjust your gamma from outside the game, see what that does, either by doing it manually for the card or editing your config file, whichever one includes the gamma info. I've actually got a similar problem being that I can't play older games either. Just certain ones though, never had any problems with HL not running but I couldn't run it in OpenGL on the ATI card for some reason, had to used the other option, D3D or whatever.
