I'm so done giving you suggestion after suggestion, you don't seem to understand / listen to anything - good luck with your "maPxXXping!"
edit: Actually Ima be nice. How about adding some trims around the walls / floor? Vary up the textures a bit, need a lot of lighting. It wouldn't hurt me to try it just for fun....we'll see. |

It's like a Killbox, but without bothering to make sides and a ceiling.

I didnt use them because in the midair2_r2, there were none. I thought about adding a box, but I just wanted to keep it simple, and if I were to make it a box, then I would need to do lots of trimming and brush work. This is just a simple remake, Im not trying to make it perfect

Since when did the mapping forum gain all the spillover of elitist assholes from the other forums?
*cracks whip* Back! Back to your cages in Chat and Main!!! *crack* I think you people need to be more constructive, the mapping forum is most certainly not for flaming |

Oh please...
It's a fucking platform floating into emptyness. There's nothing to be constructive about. Anyways, I'm sure Bingo Bango knows it's nothing against him and that we're just having a little fun. I think it's cool that he posts his 5-minutes maps in here for everyone to see, every single map makes this place a little less boring. |

Bingo: I'm not really sure who made the map. but OverKill may can answer that. He played DM maps since qwtf and also created a few himself afaik anyway I think you can redo the map but stick to the original design but make it better looking. we also should think about some LUA gimmicks like an airshot-o-meter ;D Last edited by o_norris; 01-12-2007 at 07:18 AM. |

Either Caesium or Sidd42 made a speedometer texture. Might be fun. There's probably some other cool stuff you could make with material proxies that would make a neat gimmick for the map.

Think midair has 4 respawn platforms (red, blue, green and yellow). Does need a little more lights though, especially towards the top.
To the ones giving him crap; its a remake of a fairly simple map. SO if you don't actually know the original map, it might be better to just shut up. |

yuck! I've been working on my version of midair - heck, i wont even call it midair since I like to be unique, for 20 minutes and it looks so much better than this. I'll make a new thread about a real DM map soon ^_^.
