Source Fails to Load

I've made two FF maps via Source and got a little time recently, but I just noticed I can't even load Source. I did a reinstall but it still won't load up after executed. Any suggestions? I'm probably going to rebuild my ancient PC which may fix it, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.
