Well...
The hunt for the mod was very fun. As soon as I read that there would be a torrent going out to legal torrent sites, I went on a search that lead me all across the internet and back home! I was surprised to find it. I was very frustrated to see how long it takes to install. Almost 5 minutes so far. An eternity when you're waiting to play FF!!! =) I think it will be awesome. EDIT: I am playing Hunted.. and it is outrageously groovy. Last edited by Crowmeister!; 09-13-2007 at 07:46 PM. |

first impressions:
movement is awesome, feels natural and really good. weapons, grens, everything else great too. lots of polish and details, and the new maps look great! i could definitely see aardvark and 2moreforever being as popular as monkey and openfire |

It's good. Doesn't 'feel' any different.
Let the reforms commence! |

It feels and plays like TFC, which is good because TFC was great in those aspects.
My only peeve with the game thus far are the character models. they do not seem to have enough "depth" in them as I would have imagined. For example, the HW guy has lost a bit of his flavor, making him less visually unique then before. But aside from that, I think you guys did a great job. All I can say is FF and Tf2 are going to keep me hooked for a long time to come. |

TF2 is just a eyesex, its been clear since the first screenies. if you want the adrenaline pump and nerve cracking tension from the original TF you go for FF
and good going with the early release, <3 you guys. |

How big is the mod once it's been extracted to the SourceMods folder? I only have 355MB of space on my steam drive thanks to the damn TF2 preload.

I'll be testing both and most likely keep playing both if they are any good. As far as the I have seen movies, both have their pro's and cons, but when it comes to actual gameplay and feel of the game you need to try it for yourself |

very smooth gameplay, player models a little lacking in character but generally well done.
maps are looking good too, i've checked out 3 or 4 so far. animations are looking much better but a couple are missing like the medpack and single shotgun reload. the engineer railgun is awesome as is the spy fake death / cloak. |

This mod kicks major ass.
I love the new pyro incendiary cannon, fun to lob flaming rockets over things. And the flamethrower is actually killing people! The maps are awesome and very detailed. Love the custom crosshairs. And my sub-par PC can actually run this with decent graphics in spam fights! |

Too dark, feels like im playing some single player game. Gun animations are missing on a few models somehow, and ive crashed four times in a row now never lasting in server longer than 5 minutes.

man I just played for like two hours! and it's awesome!
is it just me or are concs weaker or "off" somehow? Doing the exact same glidehop as in TFC on sd2 and I wasn't getting the same air and distance. seemed more horizontal than vertical |

nicely said it's like a real TP/action game VS a worm's armaggedon Like game . i don't see a clanwar future in TF2 tbh , but it's just my opinion |

Not sure why you are seeing that. There are already leagues starting to form up for both FF and TF2 along with many clans coming back.
