Team Fortress 2 Gameplay Video

TF2 Gameplay Video From PCGames Magazine (Germany). Pretty awesome. I, personally, don't like how the Heavy runs holding the AC vertically like that. That roof over the 2fort bridge could make for some fun jumpins and whatnot.

(I am REALLY sorry if this has already been posted 'cuz it's a couple weeks old but a quick search didn't reveal any threads about it.)

At around 14 seconds, the player runs through the spy/engineer. I really hope that it won't be like that in the final version.

Looks like they thought that the concept of armor and quantified health are a bit too complicated. Seems that all anyone has is a simple health gauge.

Looked great! Vid was too bright though, and the player didn't seem to have much of a clue

Pros: Best class selection menus ever.
I liked the health icon, though the idea is old.
Loved the outdoor flashing arrows that pointed towards the objective.

Cons: Good to see that the choppy demo playback issue is a source-wide one...
Too bright.
Needed gameplay sounds for better immersion.
Lacked cl_ragdolldeathview 1. That thing is the bomb.
The pointer to the briefcase is an irritating idea to me. Always has been.
Clueless tester.
Camera showing who killed you. That's a major position spoiler, even with a spawn delay.

pretty gfx for sure. but watching the same footage of either a scout running around or hwguy firing ac is getting old.

Keep in mind that the idea of offense and defense will be different in TF2 since it looks like most of the maps will be command point/AvD in nature.

All i saw was an inconsistency: when looking at a HW firing, you see a muzzle flash (could be from an older movie), while if you play him and shoot, there's no muzzle flash..

Bwahaha.. Not really! It's kinda interesting how they've put a roof on the 2fort bridge. Sure wouldn't mind in game sound effects.

At the rate they are releasing videos (like, 1 a month?), a video for each class makes it 9 months... plus other videos we assume they will release.
