Another noob question
can you select brushes by texture? so it'll select all brushes with a certain texture?

I'm guessing you want to replace a certain texture used throughout the map without actually going round them one by one. You can do this with the texture application tool by clicking on the "replace" button.

and if you just want to select them, make sure you tick Do not replace textures (mark found solids)

To literally answer your question: No, not that I know of.
I've wanted to select brushes by texture occasionally before and I'm pretty sure there's no way to do it. There used to be though, I think. In old versions of 1.6 hamemr I think a brush would become selected if all of it's faces were selected when you exit the texture applicaiton thingy. |
