Config not saving between sessions?

My config.cfg does not save between sessions, at least the video settings. Anyone have any idea? Its not set as readonly, btw, thats first thing I checked.

Are you using a startup parameter for the game's dxlevel? If so, use -dxlevel only once to startup the game, then remove -dxlevel _ from the launch options.

Set your config.cfg to 'Read Only', that usually prevents unwanted changes.

Was no launch parms. Its not the dx level, its like resolution and detail and such. And once again the config isnt set readonly.
