Bots
How exactly do I spawn bots in my server? Is it an option I can set when I create a server, or is it a console command I must type? Any help would be appreciated.

Bots are not implemented into FF yet, but maybe they will be release in 2.1

I personally want them on a lan server, but they could also be added onto a internet server if the host chooses to.

Honestly, bots wont make people come to the game, when they realize there is only 3 active servers and 13 bot fucked ones... yeah.

eh....thats kind of bs because you can post *NO BOTS* in the server name...like css admins w/ their servers...
plus non-bot servers can be stickied on the servers section of the forum; what I DO forsee is another scapegoat for why people don't play FF... "yea i wanna be recognized as someone who was cool, but i rarely played ff, and now i can bs my way of being cool by saying bots killed the mod" |

Meh, I don't really see it becoming a success. I know the reason I quit playing TFC in november was because of elitism, and the bots : players ratio, like many other people did. I'm just saying that bots wont be beneficial to the game.. Sure there are people who like bots, but if we include them in multiplayer the game could turn out to become what TFC is today.

I dont see what the issue is?? if you like to visit a particular server, but there's no one on, its pretty boring, so do you want to leave and try to find a server with people on, or try to wait until someone comes?? You're not going to just sit there, you want to kill something. If there's bots you dont have to leave, you can play until someone comes..If its a skill level of the bots that people are worried about, then change the difficulty or skill level of the bots..I've been to servers in TFC where the bots were tougher than the live players..and conversely, places where the bots were majorly easy to kill..just depends on their skill level or waypoints..And, in case you havent noticed, i support bots..i think they add a little something to the game.
