The worst is when they interupt the music being played just to tell you you're still on hold. Like seriously don't get our hopes up everytime the music stops we might actually talk to someone. Just play the damn crappy music until someone can talk to us. I for one don't pay attention and usually put my phone down on my desk and listen for the music to stop playing.
Very irritating.
