Glad I could help with the skins. The issue with the crowbar floating is that you need to make his hand joint the same name as the hand joint on standard FF models and then put a line in your .qc to mark it as that point.
I believe you want the bone to be named ffSkel_RightHand and your .qc should contain this line:
$bonemerge ffSkel_RightHand
