not sure, it will eat resources. in all honesty the best way to fix the map is to redo it. the existing geometry is there, all you have to do is make a carbon copy piece by piece as you will see where you can make optimizations as you go along. id try lowering the amount of brush faces used, and also simplify unnecessary detail. it sounds like a lot of work, but once you get more into the meat and bones of the map, it will pick up. might only take a week of work to remake the entire map with optimized geometry. the displacments might be the hardest thing to remake. id also like to suggest not making it so open outside infront of the bases so you can actually defend outside. give badlands a badlands 2.0 feel.
