I'm not American.
And you can't offend people by playing a class, whereas you can offend people by saying words like "nigger", which is quite common on Trailers, Talos and other servers. It's a nicer atmosphere when everyone isn't calling everyone else a "fucking nigger" and all of that crap. Doesn't make a very good impression of the community to new players.
