Concept and Example Lua's

Figured I'd post this so it might get used. Hopefully someone will make a map as good as ff_agoraz was for it :)
  • Last Team Standing - Team deathmatch. Each player has one life per round and must spectate until the next round when killed. Team wins (+10 points) when the opposing team is completely killed. Classes are limited to Soldier only, teams used are Red and Blue.

Readme contains info on entities needed, and the .vmf is included. Map is playable, but not recommended as it looks like shit. Updated from the ff_agoraz version with a few sounds and stuff, nothing major.

Update 19th June 2009 - Download now includes an alternate version of the lua that uses Green and Red teams, and Civilian class, as per MonoXide's request - ff_lts_RGc.lua

  • Warpath-style Lua - Link to FF wiki page

Hopefully more to come, when I get round to finishing them :)

Will do :)

Next one I finish up will probably be the quadflag one I posted in the concepts thread. Then I'll probably try and move away from deathmatch style stuff, maybe do a few of the core gameplay modes like CTF or AvD.

Thought about it, couldn't be bothered :P

It probably should be though.

Can you release a version with 2 teams of civies (red and green)?

Pon 06-19-2009 11:55 AM

Sure. Updated the first post.

Didn't get chance to test it (not easy to test on my own), so if there are any errors, blame the fact I'd only been awake 20 minutes when I saw your post :D. Shouldn't be though.

If anyone's interested, I'll be uploading the rock2 Lua, with instructions on how to implement it here sometime after I've finished it up, much like I did with the Warpath stuff. Sometime this week probably.

Also working on Hide and Seek Lua, if anyone's interested in it.

Pon can you send zE the hide and seek lua?

Pon 10-28-2009 01:49 AM

Sure. Haven't had much chance to work on it recently though, so it's pretty much the same as it was when you last playtested it :/

http://www.dcpaterson.ukfsn.org/hide...ideseek0.5.rar

I added some instructions to the top of the .lua file. What entities are named what, etc.
