[obsolete] Which servers can I join?

Because of some limitations to how the server browser works, the Steam version will currently list both 2.46 servers and servers running the Steam version (you'll get an error when trying to connect to 2.46 servers). This thread will list the servers that are running the Steam version so that it's easier to find them:

• 64.74.97.32:27052 (Fortress Forever Beta Server - Windows)
• 144.76.51.10:27115 ([TFC-R.org] Fortress Forever Beta Server)

Let me know if you start a dedicated server and I'll add it to the list.

Looks like there might be some issues remaining with the server browser that are causing it to throw the "server out of date" error no matter what.

You can still connect to servers through the console, though; for example:

I can't find the Steam version through the Steam store or via greenlight to download. Will my game client need to be reinstalled from Steam or will everything be contained in the existing FF folder? Where am I supposed to enter the beta key?

In Steam, go to Games -> Activate a Product on Steam and enter your key. It'll install a totally fresh copy; you'll have to copy over your current cfg/maps/etc if you want to keep them.

Appreciate it. However, I just pushed an update that makes this thread irrelevant; both problems should be fixed (non-Steam servers showing up in the server browser and not being able to connect to servers from the server browser).
