Was pretty bad. "What a friggin mess. Jesus. Get to the point already! Enough endless CGI not going anywhere. It's overcompensating BIG TIME." -some internet comment.


It felt like something you'd be shown at school learning this for the first time.

It will get to the point. Do you have any idea how little the "average person" knows about space? Give it time. Most people need those dumb visuals to get into it because they're probably getting their first exposure since elementary school. I thought it was a pretty good introduction episode, they could have even explained the basics more.
