Christmas Battle!
 

The Christmas DEATH Battle!

Since it's the holidays and I'm not in a cheery fucking mood, this is what the battle is.
Above is a picture of the North Pole where the fat sack of shit Santa lives, use as an example of how nice and pretty it looks. BECAUSE THE MAP WONT BE LIKE THAT. Oh Fuck that.

Rules
  1. Solids Limit: 2,500
  2. Must have blood shed
  3. Santa MUST BE DEAD *CAN BE JUST A HUGE BLOOD POOL*
  4. MUST HAVE A HAPPY SNOWMAN!
  5. Have Fun
What is the battle? It's very simple, create a completely destroyed North Pole. Have Santa hanging from a fucking tree. Have his little midget gay elfs impaled. What must be in this map? A Happy Snowman, because he raged and killed everything.

Oh, does it have to be a functional map? Obviously it needs spawns, but flags, objectives, anything?

Btw use propper. The brush limit won't restrict you at all.

Psh, you clearly do not know how terrible / inefficient my mapping is.

Totally forgot about this for a week and a half but I did most of the mapping the first day so I'll be able to finish (I hope).

So, what exactly are we supposed to submit? Vmf / bsp / screenshots--some combination of those?

My map really isn't in a playable state yet but all the brushwork and lights are done at least.

Also tried using Propper to varying levels of success. Converted some light fixtures, which worked well, then went on the hunt for other complex fittings in an attempt to get under the restriction--which did not go so well. The lighting ended up poor on most of the newly created models (my fault, I'm sure) although I did get under the limit!

And so I seem to be left choosing between abiding by the rules or having a sexy map...

R00Ki3: You used a prop I made (the wood pile)! Snowman looks good.

It turns out I'm kind of lazy. Instead of doing this I just played Dwarf Fortress and watched Futurama DVDs.
